If you really wanted to run a hitch and a prerunner bumper, you can get a QX56 hitch, from what I was told, it sits much higher than our Titan hitch's with the same mounting points.
Here is my stock Titan hitch and G-Machine built bumper, I think it came out very good considering what we had to work with.
kevdizzle-Do you ever worry about your wireing harness being exposed on the passanger side? How long has it been that way, I have had mine that way for the last month or so and I keep thinking its going to be a problem, but I'm guessing Nissan weather proof'ed the harness for dumb****s like me.
its been like that since i put the kit on. so, well over a year now with no problems.

I noticed that in the picture too. There's another one to be concerned about as well... (oh wait, it's shown in the picture, lower left corner). If you crawl underneath, behind the front PS tire, there is a small black plastic cover, about 6"x6"x? which is there to protect a large, approx. 30 pin connector that then runs back along the frame to the back of the truck. It's really in a vulnerable location. First of all, it's mounted on the OUTSIDE of the frame rail, and second, it's directly behind the front tire (although it is somewhat protected by the guard and fender liner (not on yours though).
Here's how I found out about it:
I was in a hurry, passing a van on a long straight stretch, doing approx. 75 mph. While alongside the van, I noticed something on the road. Well, it was either hit the guide rail on my left, the object on the road, or the van on my right. Obviously, I did my best to try and straddle the random object. It didn't go so well. I whacked it good, and my truck imediately shuts down. WTF??? After I coast to the side of the road and PUT MY FLASHERS ON, I get out and look around, see no damage. I then decide to walk back and see what I hit. It was a friggin boat seat, and the pedestal that it mounts into the boat with. When I turned around and looked back at the truck, I noticed my flashers weren't on. Hmmm, didn't I turn them on? So I go back and start tracing the wiring from the tailights up to the front and discovered that the seat completely obliterated the cheezo plastic guard, and also managed to knock the connector loose and break off part of it. Right now, I have it completely encased with silicone and electrical tape. It's been that way for 2+ years. I really should check it sometime!
If I were you guys, I'd figure out some way to better protect that lower, frame mounted connector.

VERY NICE TRUCK
alot of custom one off items i have never seen before
8 million lights on the front haha
thanks, its coming together SLOWLY. going to move 2 of the lights up onto the outside edges of the cowl and leave 4 in the front. these lights are nothing heres my old truck.
definitely a different style of "prerunner" than out here.
I really like how you have your truck set up NOW. Ditched the disco wheels and the way to big and heavy mud grappler's, chrome less and the smaller non big tow mirrors. The stock front bumper doesn't look huge with the long travel kit.On did you reshape the front bumper ends to have a more flowing wheel opening?
i dont think those nitto muds are much heavier than the new bfgkm2's. and at least nitto made it 13.50 wide, instead of 12.50 like bfg. its too big of a tire to be that skinny, it just looks stupid imo. my truck never had any chrome, its an xe. whats wrong with moto metal? i wish i still had them because at least they came in a 4.5" backspacing unlike the kmc's, robby's, etc which all come in a 4" backspace meaning you need to run a .25" spacer. our studs are so short, i didnt even feel safe driving on them so i replaced them with longer, thicker chevy studs just so i could run those stupid kmc wheels. i dont even think i could fit a 13.50 tire now because its sooooo close to the spindle.

i've shorted out my ignition before with my dual battery setup, its definitely a scary feeling when nothing works on your truck in the middle of no where. i would say my truck has been through some pretty rough terrain though and those 2 harness's have never caused me any problems to date (knock on wood). i think kartmans is out in the open too, anyone else have any input?

I was actually talking about the 30 pin. Here are a few more that I found on NCD's myspace posted above

Just build a guard bracket for it then. It's one of the 15 million things on my list that I need to fab up for my car or truck. It shouldn't be too hard.

im sure it is, but ive just started building/buying parts and upgrading the suspension. ive always loved the look of prerunners and thats the look i wanna go for. While still having a decent performer. how but you west coasters give me some tips.
You guys pull the plastic liner from under the front wheel wells so dont you worry about water getting splashed up and sucked into the intake under your fender. I still have my plastic splash guards but because of my bumper I worry about water getting up in there. I crossed a creek about 6in deep once and it got water on my airfilter and ran like crap until I put a spare dry one in. What do you think?
