You guys pull the plastic liner from under the front wheel wells so dont you worry about water getting splashed up and sucked into the intake under your fender. I still have my plastic splash guards but because of my bumper I worry about water getting up in there. I crossed a creek about 6in deep once and it got water on my airfilter and ran like crap until I put a spare dry one in. What do you think?
yeah, it helps. have you seen the plastic fender-liner on the XE models? they have more coverage, don't know why either. also you could, if you have an aftermarket cone filter, get a prefilter which is somewhat water-resistant (water splashes) to put over the cone filter. and if that fails you could get a snorkel designed for the titan.
most of us with prerunner glass or FRP fenders have to pull the plastic liner out cause the prerunner fenders run wider and the tabs on the plastic liner just dangle loose. so you either have to yank em out or trim them like i did, but gonna have to remove once i get the shock hoops put in.

i remember that thread. i was like holy sh!t... so soon??? LOL
which is why based off of everyone elses experiences i went with the prerunner fenders from http://ionicdynamics.com/Titanfenders.html
fenders went on easy as pie. it was like taking off the OEM fenders and putting them back on. no trimming, no sanding, no nothing. just bolt and go...
I heard ionicdynamics was coming out with matching bumper end's for the stock bumper so everything flowed better. have they? are they?

good question, i don't know, however i don't think so. they WERE talking about making FRP bedsides...
plus, i ripped my bumper off in preparation for a prerunner bar so i don't need the caps, anyone looking to buy some smoke bumper caps with foglights in them?

The only reason I have not bought a set is due to lack of pre molded fender liners. I really don't feel like making my own set... I will buy once those are available. Now, FRP bed sides sound really interesting..... Was he considering the option of keeping the lock box too? If so, sign me up for some bed sides too!

Re: "Prerunner" Titan's
Yeah we have a two sets of bed sides, cab and one piece frontend , one set is painted and the other one is primed ready to be painted.. see the pics below
Oh I forgot... they were made for my cousin's race truck ( pin racing class 8) now sponsored by Ionic Dynamics
Ok for the titan no news..... I'm having my bedsides pull at my cusin's fab shop next week... I'll post some pics a soon as it gets done. My truck is almost payoff so I'm starting to do the crazy stuff... getting my truck bed caged with kings... so hopefully my truck will be ready for this summer.

Are you planing to make matching front bumper end to match the fenders?
