Dang! You guys have some serious cash and some serious creativity, ingenuity, and general appeal for some fun! This thread is just too cool! Totally enjoyed reading through it and even found a cool background picture for the work computer.
-motorvisions, where did you find the smoked tail lights? I have a black 04cc that I would love to do that to.

first i had Lamin-X smoked film on the tailights and headlights but they werent installed right so they had bubbles and cuts in them. then i picked up AVS smoked taillight covers through autozone. eventually got the AVS headlight covers through ******* industries since autozone said they couldnt get them.

So those are just covers you used then? I was searching the net a couple years ago and found a place that you could send them in, they would sand them and do all the painting and curing and then send it back. Now that I look though they have either changed names or long since shut down. It's a sharp look though.

From talking to greg the past week or so it seems to me that he will have everything in for the MT 4x4 kit in 2 weeks or so. I plan on getting this kit at that time.

i hope you do so we can both sing praises! i think the biggest hang-up is those axles. but definitely worth the wait.

Axles are done, Desertrunner has everything ready to install on his truck.

Hooli's truck is goining under the knife this week. Just waiting on the new coilovers (i need to valve them here) and his truck should be done by next week.
