Engine cage for the titan

I know I have seen a few pics on here of an engine cage that someone got done for the titan. Anyone got any pics? I did a search and couldn't find them but I KNOW they are around here some where. Thanks!

I remember seeing it also. I believe that was PRGreg's truck, could be wrong. My setup should be done tomorrow... shock hoops with a brace going over the engine. I'll post pics when I can.

Re: Engine cage for the titan

What do you want a engine brace for pecorra? What changes are you making other than that?

engine brace is primarily to brace the shock hoops from being bent in and to prevent flex that is created. term "engine brace" is used cause it goes over the engine.

really should be referred to as "Shock Hoop Brace" which is recommended for applications that will see some abuse. Not only will it distribute the shock forces between both sides of the frame but it will stiffen up the frame in general, giving the front end of the truck additional strength. ideally this brace has flanges that allow the center section to unbolt for engine service. as you can see in the pics provided.
