If i put a coilover kit on a 2wd 06 titan that gives 3-4 inches of lift and a rough country 3" leveling kit, does anybody know someone that has done this and what the total inches of lift is or around? I'm looking to do this and it is the cheapest and easiest way I have found. THanks

You can't use that coilspacer with the coilovers. PRG does sell some C/Os that you can add like a 1" spacer to, with a set of new UCAs for about 5" of lift. You can however get the CST 4" Spindles and a set of C/Os for about 8" of lift. IMO this is the best setup for a 2wd. It will yield excellent offroad performance, make your truck ride better on the road, and the C/Os are adjustable from 0"-4" of lift so you can set it up for what best suits your needs.
Thanks, I will prob never drive the truck offroad so that performance isnt that important just cheapest way to height, and road ride. That is all I'm looking for, and I am just confused on all nissans different suspension set up's, what's your opinion on someone building a component box like in a fabtech suspension lift to give around 3 or 4 inches of lift to the lower control arm with the coilovers that would add 3 more, My dad is a master welder and fabricator and can build anything with a picture. Thats why i ask.

Well a cheaper route, over the C/Os would be the Spindles and a leveling kit for 6.5" of lift. That setup should run $1k or a bit more if I'm not mistaken. It will retain the factory ride unlike that bracket lifts, look better because there's no subframe hanging down, and be easier to install/remove.
I'm not sure what you mean by "component box", are you talking about the subframe maybe? If you are talking about basically building your own bracket lift, I'd say you would be better off to just go with the spindles and Coilspacers. A good set of C/Os for a bracket lift are like $1200, not to mention all the money you would spend on materials and your time. And this is a proven setup, so there wouldn't be anything to go wrong. If you're not talking about building your own bracket lift, please explain what you mean so I, as well as others can try to help you out.
yes sorry that was blurry, I meant the subframe that comes in the fabtech, etc. lifts, I seen where you can buy half of each kit and their called component boxes and I got those mistaken, I mean build a new subframe to drop the lower control arms for 3-4 maybe even 5 inches of lift, I don't see why that wouldn't work?

Yeah it could work, but honestly I don't think you'd be saving any money, in fact I bet it would cost more. It would be cool to build your own stuff, but I just don't see it saving any money. How much is the component box and what all does it come with?
Problem is that the one box holds one subframe bracket, the other is ina different box. For instance, you CAN buy just the spindles, but they are about $350 each ($700/pr) so you dont save money at all.
Yea you can buy the kit in two boxes one 800 and one 600 the 600 is just the spindles and the 800 is everything else in a fabtech 6 inch lift. But what if I bought the fabtech spindles that are 600 would they be the same height as the prg spindles?
Whats the difference in them *cst* and the fabtech spindle, what is the drop down bracket?
The CST spindle is a complete lift all on it's own, the Fabtech is made to be used in conjunction with the subframe (drop down bracket). IMO the Spindle's combined with a coilspacer or Coilover is the only way to go on a 2wd. It looks way better than the bracket lifts because there is no subframe hanging down, it's easier to install/remove, it gives you more ground clearance if you ever decide to go offroad, and it will ride exactly the same as stock.

The Fabtech spindle is taller than the CST, and requires a subframe to work. That's why you can get so much height out of the Fabtech kit. The CST spindle works as a direct factory replacement.
The subframe is used to lower suspension and drivetrain components to get maximum lift.
oh ok thanks guys buy im thinking of piddling with some square tubing to make a subframe and see how it works out, if it doesn't then i won't have wasted too much money and maybe by some odd chance it will work. again thanks ya'll, is there anything else I should know about the titan 2wd suspension and lifting it?
