What will it take to clear 37's?

Im running the basic PC 6" right now with 33's but Im wanting to lift the truck up a little more. I was just going to get some 35's when these tires wear out but then I got to thinking what would I need to clear some 37's? I was thinking about just doing a 3" body lift but I feel like there has to be more options, I just dont know what they are??? So what parts would I need to get the truck up high enough to clear? Or should I just do a body lift, and would 9" be enough to clear 37's?

Sorry for all the question, I just want to make sure.

Check your rear blocks. I would swear that they are in backwards by how far back they are riding.

yeah, he's talking about your blocks in the rear. it does appear the wheels sit a hair further back from where they're supposed to sit, but it could just be the pic. i'm guessing the blocks are tapered and if backwards could cause them to set the wheels back. just a guess.

Re: What will it take to clear 37's?

so if the block is just regular blocks non tapered u cant put them in wrong , and if there tapered u can put the angle in the wrong way and it shoves the wheel back just taking a guess

Re: What will it take to clear 37's?

I thought the block that came with the procomp lift was not tapered? the ones that came with my procomp stage one were not tapered.

Re: What will it take to clear 37's?

The block isnt tapered, but it does use an offset pin. It is designed to bring the wheels forward.

Re: What will it take to clear 37's?

so we can clear 37's with just the fenders and pinch weld mod? I would rather keep the truck as low as possible for center of gravity but i want 37's too

thanks Greg! I needed that motivation.....

did you just cut the front fenders? I have pulled the plastic inner fender cover out to see... looks like I can get about 2-3" at the trailing edge of the front fender
