PRG traction bars

If I install the PRG offroad traction bars with my PC 6"lift, how will my daily driving change? I understand it elimantes axle wrap but did not know if it would stiffen up the ride on pavement. I don't want it to make the ride harsh.

Re: PRG traction bars

About a year ago Greg installed his 4" Perf. Pkg. on my KC 4x4, with the 2.5" Deavers, TC shackles, and off-road traction bars. I have the SAWs in front and Radflos in the rear. The truck handles 100 times smoother over bumps and in corners than it did stock. But I think that's a function of the shocks. I don't believe the traction bars stiffen the ride at all. If anything, the Deavers might have that affect. But I didn't notice a difference after the install, and I never ran the traction bars without the Deavers or the Radflos. Anyhow, I think you'll be fine with the traction bars. If anything, they should make the truck a little more responsive when you initially accelerate.
