Talking SAW's on the way

I've been following all the SAW threads with a lot of interest, then this weekend I finally got around to finishing our taxes and to my surprise we've got more coming back than I expected.

So guess what I'm spending some of it on?

SAW's front and rear
Upper arms
2.5" Deaver pack
Traction bars

Greg was great to work with, and really helped me to figure out what to get to accomplish what I want. UPS can't get here fast enough!

Re: SAW's on the way

With the rest of the return I'm going to buy a commuter car. $650 a month in gas is starting to take its toll! And it's only getting worse... At least I'll still have my truck on weekends!

sounds like a good setup schrute...i just got the same rear setup as you, and it's nice...a little stiff right now, but greg told me that the more the springs get broken in, the smoother the ride will get....i still need to get the traction bars/uca's/front SAWS....but it looks like my tax return was quite a bit smaller than yours....

SAAAWEET!! Welcome to the SAW family. If you plan on putting it all on yourself, but sure to check out BlackBeauty's write-up on the SAW installation. It'll make everything buttery smooth on the installation.

How long have you had that rear setup?

I can't wait to get everything installed. I caught myself thinking about it a few times at work today. A co-worker asked me what was new so I told him "I ordered some new shocks and stuff for my truck" and he tried to seem interested for a minute, LOL.

I've read BB's writeup a couple of times and will read it again before the install. It is a great writeup. Buttery smooth sounds great! My TT buddy Firulice is going to help with the install, now I just hope all the goodies show up by this weekend!

i just got it installed on saturday...so only 4 days now....i've had it on a couple rough dirt roads, and it's VERY SMOOTH...the rear is like a completely new truck now, much better than the dr's and not even comparable to the stock setup....
