I dont think my tires would clear a shock mounted like that. Is yours close?

No problems at all with the procomp 4.75" backspacing, my frames the same width as yours and I stuck a titan rear under the frontier. In all reality I wish I would of saved up for triples and the bedcage but it's my first prerunner.
Live and learn right. I figure once I have the deavers installed down the line I'll ditch the bed fuel cell it with a couple of spares and some big azz triples.
