IMO. a guy asks you about a lift on a truck you and blatenly made it clear you knew nothing about that lift for that truck, but it didnt slow you down on how to tell him how it is completely stupid to do that lift and tires on a ifs. who cares what you think about 40's on an ifs. if the man wants to do it then **** it let it go. you may have had expiernces or seen it 100000 times that it wont work, but we dont come in here and tell your ford is a pos cause it is always broke or tore up do we? nope. so if you are asked a question then you can answer it, but not everyone cares to hear your 2 cents cause your a florida princess with a big truck. if you want to look at the shop www.jbccoffroad.com if you want me name and number its robert 817-298-4321. the shop is in azle. if you have a bone to pick then pick up the phone and call me.

How much does a single cab Ford weigh? I bet not too much more, if any more, than my CC Titan which also has way heavier rims and tires. And as for nobody caring about my opinion maybe you should read where Etal asked me what I thought. Haha my Ford has broken once so that's not all the time as you'd like to think, call it what you'd like I couldn't care less what you say either way, but show me someone who puts their truck through the abuse that mine takes. Oh wait, I bet you can't, let's see your mud truck? Ha a Fl princess with a big truck? Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but I'm going to guess you're one of those guys that can't stand to see a girl driving a bigger, nicer truck than you. Dang look at me, 20 years old with three trucks I paid for myself and did all the work on myself, two of which are bigger than yours, and I don't even own an offroad shop. Pathetic, huh? Do you not find it funny that everyone seems to think you're an idiot, as well as a story teller, they point it out yet you still seem to think I'm the one who does not know what I'm talking about. Maybe you should analyze this thread, you're calling me an idiot, yet you clearly made posts that make you look like an idiot, everyone else has already said you do not know what you're talking about, yet you still keep going.

Umm, last time I checked the previous comment you made was comparing the price of a spring or coil lift to the Bulletproof bracket lift, correct? Or do you think straight axle Ford's have bracket lift's too? Yes with leafs and coils you do have many more options, but as far as IFS goes, IMO we have a ton of lift options. IMO IFS lift options can't be compared to SFA lift options at all, two completely different categories.

Re: help on going BIG!!!

rtc....the pics in post #46, is that with your 11 inches of lift? If so I dont thing your going to fit those 38x13.5's and still turn without fender work. I could be wrong but your corner killers are gona get you. I think you may want to think about 38x11's.

Meg....Its not worth arguing girl. Sometimes people (like us lol) have to learn the hard way.

No that's his 6" bracket lift with a leveling kit equaling 8". He's going to have a bracket lift like the Bulletproof custom made by someone at his regular job.

Yeah, I guess you're right, but it is quite comical. Let's me put in my daily dose of sarcasm to someone whom I do not care if I offend. lol I guess I should heed the " You can't argue with idiots, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you from experience" quote.

Re: help on going BIG!!!

ourbaby no that is only 8" on 33's meg is right about that. i have not put the body lift on yet till i get the tires and you are correct i dont thing i will be able to run the 38's. i spoke to greg at prg and said no way on the 38's unless i run a skinnier than 13.50's like your saying. so i may just go with 37's i dont know just yet cause i am still deciding on lifting it. it would be 11 inches total but i dont know if i want that much or more so it is kinda on a stand still at this very moment.

meg yes a sas and ifs are completely different catagories, but let me ask you this 44's on a ifs is obsurd right? well what about the h1 it is all isf no sas on them and they come stock on 36 or 37's no issues with them. they hold up just from or atleast i seem to think so the govt uses them and they are super super heavy. etal did ask you what you knew about the lift for his friends f-150 if i recall correctly, but then once again you made it clear you didnt know anything about the lift, but still insisted on telling him how pointless or dumb it was to lift a ifs that much with those tires. and yes your truck goes thru more stuff than mine because it is bigger and is 4wd. but the height and mine only being a 2wd i abuse it. i beat it up and down through creeks, holes, rocks, whatever i can make it threw or not make it threw ill take it. i am happy that you have 3 trucks that are bigger than mine, never did i make the acclamation mine was bigger tougher or went through more **** than yours did i? nope. you have said ample amount of times how you have broke axles, rearends, or just simplified it all and said tore all to hell. so with that being said i think it is a fair judgement to make that your stuff is always broke or breaks down alot. if you want videos of the **** i take my truck thru not a problem. i know alot of people are skeptical on this site and could be for multiple reasons, but i dont care what other people have. no matter how big your truck is or how fast or what you have done to it someones somewhere is bigger better tougher or faster so i do what i want done to my truck.

c/s anyone know how to adjust the head lights? i know there is a place on top of the headlight assembly, but i moved it and it didnt seem to move the headlight. also has anyone seen a s/c titan with dyno results? searched threads and seen some vids but no dyno results

Re: help on going BIG!!!

rtc, you may (with your connections) want to look into the possibility of fender work. If you could arch or roll the fenders back to allow 1-2 inches and maintain a factory "look" you could be the first Titan with 38+'s. You have plenty of height now its just the stupid fenders on the titans. As far as Meggs truck being broke down a lot. I don some mudding too, not nearly what she does lol but I can tell you from experience that if you do real "Mudding" (not saying your not) you WILL tear something up. These trucks just have too much power and with "REAL" mud tires (like Megg just experienced with her new boggers) you WILL eventually tear things up. Its just the way it works.........So to say her truck is always broke down, she should take that (in this case) as a complement because it means she is doing to that truck what it was meant to do and that is to have the devil run out of it......

Re: help on going BIG!!!

it would be even simplier to just by fiberglass fenders for the front. they look close to factory and you would be able to clear the 13.5's. she probably does take it thru some serious stuff, but i would be right beside her if i had a truck with the tire and lift combo she does. i am not sayin i take my 2wd where she takes her 4wd, but if i was around i would take it through things you wouldnt expect a 2wd to go through. 0h im sure sooner or later it will break or ill tear it up especially the way i drive on or off the pavement. when it breaks i am going with a completely different rearend. from what i dont know, i dont there is any available axles out there for the titan? meg feel free? you know of any aftermarket axles for the titan?

An H1 is alot more heavy duty than a 1/2 ton truck, correct? Big difference there. And yes he asked for my opinion so I gave it, but atleast I can admit to not knowing anything about it rather than just trying to make stuff up and bs stuff so I can fool those that don't know anything into thinking that I know what I'm talking about. All I would've had to do was go on an F150 forum, search for rize lifts, and see what they posted up about them. Did I do that, no, because I am not one to try to bs about thing's I don't know about like some. And IMO it is stupid to lift an IFS truck that much. But maybe because the only reason I lift my truck's is because I take them off the pavement, not because I want a big truck that looks cool, and as said by onelow "a half ton on 40s is useless offroad". So yes to me a total pavement pounder is pretty stupid. Is there anything wrong with having a big lift on an IFS truck, no, it's just my take on thing's and when people ask for my opinion I'm going to tell them what I think whether it's what they want to hear or not. Also, how are you going to make assumptions about my current truck being broken all the time when 1) I stated these were things I've seen happen, not all of them were my truck's, and 2) I've owned a heck of alot more than the 3 truck's I own now. But as I said in the first place, I wasn't trying to be rude, or bash your plans, just letting you know what to expect if you offroad your truck like you say you do. This thread has gotten pretty off topic, so sorry to the o.p. for hijacking your thread.

I have seen some of her pics man and you would need a lot more lift to even keep that baby afloat lol. I wouldnt even take my big truck through some of the stuff Ive seen her in. lol.... Nah she is very knowledgable and both her and I have to remember that their are VERY few people on these boards that MUD the way we MUD..... If your truck does not need a set of boggers, the mud is not bad enough...lol You should ask her to link you to some of the pics she has up on another site of their mud holes, great pics really....
