Re: help on going BIG!!!

Trevar's white SD on 53"S. The brown bronco is my dad's: it has a straight axle, 6" lift, on 36" TSLs. That is all nasty mud, not just water, the bronco was still running in that pic, it was just stuck. The black ford is mine. The brown F250 is my buddy Rob's, it has a D60 SFA, some engine work, and a programmer, on 38"s.

Re: help on going BIG!!!

The red chevy is my buddy Kyle's it has a SBC pushing a little over 400hp to the wheels on 44" V treads, and 44' Bogger's. The Green Ford is my buddy Clem's on 2.5 tons with 44" V treads. The Batman Ford is my buddy Raybo's on 2.5 tons, built 427, and 50" V Treads. The black superduty is my buddy Justin's on 38"s, it took the maroon SD on 40"s and my dad's dually a few tries to snatch him out.

Re: help on going BIG!!!

First SD is my buddy Matt's on 22s with 40s. The blue ford is B Ron's on 44"s Bogger's in this pic, but he also has 49" Irok's for it. The green ford is the same one from my other post.

No there aren't any direct replacement axles, but it shouldn't be that hard for your shop to swap something in, such as a Sterling 10.25, D60, or D70. You'd have alot better chance of that holding up than the D44.

Re: help on going BIG!!!

some bad *** trucks and pics and vids meg. sweet. i am just going to run my axles and when they break if they do then i will just swap the whole rearend to like a 10bolt or 12bolt i dont know. i mean also my truck is only 11months old so i need to consider that too.

Re: help on going BIG!!!

A 10 bolt? I can only assume you mean a GM 10 bolt... no idea why you would do that. You don't make sense at all. its like you just go on the internet and just start typing crap in and googling stuff and just post up random stuff.... if you were going to do a swap and put the effort into it you would want to go with something stronger than that to begin with... yikes!

Re: help on going BIG!!!

Swap to a Dana 60 would be nice....my truck was pretty much built to do the hard pack woops and trails, and go to glamis in...but I have not pushed the limits because I know the week link is that Rear End....so once I get a more practicle daily driver then I will probably push the limits on this one and do the rear axle swap.

The GM 10 bolt is the only 10 bolt I've ever heard of so I would say your assumption is correct Pecora, but then again what do I know?!?!
