Removing 7" CST

I am planning on buying the mid travel kit and currently have a 7" CST kit. I want to remove the bracket lift even though I know it will work with it cuz I dont want it that high. When Greg installed the lift I know there was some cutting and grinding. Has anyone gone back to stock or know how difficult it would be?

It should be easy. The CST page says you can go back to stock. I dont think the cutting does anything to change that.

Re: Removing 7" CST

Ryno I would have thought you would have came to me about this since well i no longer have the cst kit on mine It wasn't hard at all to go back to stock at all. Did buy a new crossmember or whatever piece it is that was cut when we added the cst kit though. Didn't have to but just wanted to and the guys doing my fabrication wanted to as well. Other than that it was pretty simple.

When you getting the MT kit?!

Not sure on the time frame. I think clayton is gonna buy my lift. I gotta figure out what spindles I need though.

Re: Removing 7" CST

The piece that was replaced was about a $100 cuz a friend works at pinnacle nissan. Could prolly get you the same deal.

If clayton gets it tell him to not run off any cliffs or wreck his titan like he always does ha.

Wonder what spindles you would use as well.. hmm.. Greg would be able to answer for you. We are actually using modified CST spindles instead of making some. They are actually turning pretty sweet. Provide the right amount of lift too after they were chopped down

go with some Pro Comp spindles from the 6" lift they have. you can just order the spindles for 499 bucks i think. that way you can sell your CST kit as a whole...

*edit* Pro Comp spindles sell for 467 bucks + shipping...
