Guide Me...

I have a 2WD and am wanting to lift it now. I have the 2" lvl done, but of course ready to get higher.

What do you recommend? I see the 4", but don't seem to see much of a difference.

Re: Guide Me...

Get the spindles and keep your leveling kit. This will give you about 6" of lift in the front. Than put a block or a deaver pack in the rear.

yes, but you would need blocks for the rear to keep it level. Hit up PRG for the kits. I believe his 4" Spindle Lift for 2wd has everything you need for it

Re: Guide Me...

Ok, I think that was the initial 4" kit I was looking at. So some of the 4" ones that I've seen may not have the level kit that I already have?

Thanks for the help and sorry for being a noob.

Re: Guide Me...

Yes, if you keep the level it will be a 6" lift if you take it out you will have a 4" lift. You can also get a 2.5" leveling kit for another 1/2" lift to make it a 6.5" lift in the front. If you keep the leveling kit your going to want a 3" block in the back or a equivalent deaver pack. The best thing to do is call Greg at prg and he will hook you up.

Re: Guide Me...

That is what I'd shoot for down the road for sure.

Do you think that the 285/65's I have for tires now will look too small when I get the 4" and keep level + get blocks?

Re: Guide Me...

Thanks again.

I may have to wait since there is still a lot of tread on my tires...unless I can sell them and reinvest in newer.

Re: Guide Me...

Or for better performance stay with the stock size tire, get the spindle lift, sell the level kit. Upgrade the coilovers and rear shocks ASAP, but set the coilovers for 0 preload, (0" of lift).
