Carnage

Driving up to cover the primm race this weekend an axle bearing seized, casued the shaft to break in half, gear oil on hot brakes started small fire. All this fun stuff happened in BFE about 15 miles west of Searchlight NV, literally the middle of nowhere.

Re: Carnage

Not the axles fault, the bearing that seized was recently replaced with the shaft less than 2 months ago under warranty. I suspect a sloppy install (over torqued) or a bad bearing to start with. The tow to vegas cost me $250 on top of what nissan paid for.
