Picked up my PRG 4" Spindle Lift today..

Went out and saw Greg out in Riverside and picked it up. Gonna try and get it installed tonight if possible.

Now I just need some tires, anyone got any good leads on those? I am specifically looking for 285/70/17 in any A/T tire. Not being picky about brand, and am more concerned with price.

Post up any thoughts or ideas please? Thanks.

Keep a look out on craigslist in your area, sometimes you can find deals. You should be able to go with a 35 with that setup!

Also, congrats on the new lift!

Thanks. I enjoyed the trip. Drove 65mph on cruise control the whole way, got 20 mpg according to my calcs. That's the last time I'll see figures like that, lol. Also, I found some Kumho Road Venture 285/70/17 for $602 shipped to my door from Tire Rack. How are these tires? Halfway decent?

Re: Picked up my PRG 4" Spindle Lift today..

you wont be able to fit 35's on 4" lift unless you do some mods. you can fit 35's on 6" with the right offset wheels

It's a 4" spindle + 2.5" spacer, Pro-Comp Rear Shocks, Fabtech CBDB, Fabtech U-Bolts, brake lines. So yes it will fit 35's.

But, I don't want 35's.

Re: Picked up my PRG 4" Spindle Lift today..

Got the front spindles done tonight, gonna do the rear block, CBDB, and shocks tomorrow. It looks stupid with the little tires but I'll be getting some new ones soon. I'll post pics once it's all done.
