Exclamation Post lift kit removal problems. HELP!!!!

So after I removed all of my lift kit parts (4"spindles, SAW front coils, SAW rear shocks, 4"blocks) I started to feel heavy vibration (shaking) in the lower RPM. This vibration is very noticeable especially with a heavy load. Now, I haven't removed my CST drop carrier bearing bracket since the removal of my lift kit (since Gregg@ prg told me that I didn't have to...)... and was wondering if the cause of this "vibration" in the lower RPM is because of this drop carrier bearing.

Anyone with knowledge please help me with this. This noticeable vibration is starting to get on my nerves. Also, what do I have to do to fix this vibration if its in fact that this vibration is due to my drop carrier bearing bracket.

Thanks guys.

Seeing as how you don't have your truck lifted anymore....it makes sense to remove the drop carrier bearing IMO. Not to doubt Greg but thats my best guess.

Remove the carrier drop and the vibe is gone. Now your pinion angle is off..

Re: Post lift kit removal problems.

Thanks for the response guys. What do I replace the CST carrier bearing bracket with? Also, i remembered when Greg installed the CST carrier bearing bracket, he cut a piece of the truck cross member piece.

Thanks again for all of your help.

Go to a hardware store and get a piece of 1/4" steel plate to use in place of the carrier bearing bracket. Cut steel plate to length of the bracket drilling two holes using bracket as a template. Remove bracket and install steel plate.
