looking for small lift

Hey i just got a 2004 Titan a couple months ago and im ready to lift it...

I dont want to sacrifice any ride quality since i bought it for my DD and highway use. I have a Jeep i use for offroading but wanted the Titan to be a little bigger.

What is the best/easiest 2" kit to throw on the titan?

i noticed there is a leveling kit but it looks like that just lifts the front?

thanks!

Re: looking for small lift

Smallest lift is gonna be 4" i believe. The leveling kit will just raise the front. Check out prgproducts.com.

Re: looking for small lift

bilstien 5100 adjustable coilovers will lift the front about 2 inches and level it out. check out the suspension thread and search "5100".......might be what you're looking for?????

the prg stuff is great too

Re: looking for small lift

I'd get the 4" extended travel package w/deavers and rear SAWs I'm building one slowly and will have one eventually in addition to my 3" bodylift

Re: looking for small lift

What is PRG? I have never heard of them until this forum.

It looks like i can level the front up 2" and the truck would look a lot bigger. I dont want to sacrifice any stock handling

hey YJTITAN9504 you're not getting alot of responses because this type of question has been answer here a hundred times(no offense).

Look on the "forums" page and you'll see a link to PRG under the "Supporting vendors" section...he's a really nice guy and a Titan suspension guru. Then do some searches on suspension and you'll get even more answers...it's out there just gotta search alittle

Good luck!

Re: looking for small lift

http://www.prgproducts.com/shop/prod...ravel_package/

handling will be improved, if you crank it stiffer you can loose the sway bar I plan on doing that kit right there. but I just picked up some 20" rims, need tires and gotta put on my piggyback rear saws that're sitting outside with my rims

these are the rears I have

http://www.prgproducts.com/shop/prod...ameter_shocks/

I'd recommend them along with a deaver spring pack over a block just to lessen axle wrap and give more bottoming resistance

Re: looking for small lift

you can go two routes to get the 2" you're looking for....

#1 (cheaper route, sacrifices performance as compared to #2)...prg mini lift, gives you 2.5" in the front and 1" in the rear (this kit is top notch and lifts the truck by using a spacer in the front and a block in the rear)

#2 (i would definitely go this route if you can swing the cost, it will give you far improved handling over stock)...radflo adjustable 2.0 coilovers from prg, these will allow you to adjust between 1-4" of lift in the front (they take the place of a leveling spacer and actually give you some more wheel travel, the spacer won't do that) deaver 2.5" mini pack in the rear...these will take the place of your overload leaf and give you about 2.5" of lift in the rear...these will also improve the ride and give you the desired lift you're looking for (if you get these, you'll want to get atleast the icon rear replacement shocks or bilstein 5150s, or, again, if you can swing the cost, you can go with the sway a way piggybacks (these are a great shock, you won't be disappointed with them)....

but, like others have said, you can call greg and he'll set you up with exactly what you need, but i'm thinking he'll probably recommend something like #2 if you want the lift and don't want to sacrifice and ride quality...good luck with your search
