Re: Dropping my titan

Well I've been out of the loop with vehicles due to the whole college thing. However, i know that for trucks you can lower the suspension by modifying and compressing what is currently on the vehicle. What I was getting at is, that I would like to lower the truck and upgrade the components to something that is more designed for tight cornering at higher speeds. If you dont mind me asking what did the drop run you price wise? Do you have any pics? Did you do the install yourself?

Re: Dropping my titan

Dropping the Titan isn't an easy chore. No one makes any off the shelf spindles for it. You could do springs on the front but you may have too much negative camber. It all depends on how low you want to go. Another thing is that most of the wheel/tire combos will not tuck in the fenders. Even with 30mm backspacing they won't tuck. It is hard to find something bigger without having custom made rims.

Re: Dropping my titan

The MG kit is pretty easy and really affordable. I put good shocks on with it and the ride quality didn't really change and I still tow a 23' Hydrosport. It gets really expensive fast when you start goin lower. I've seen pics of PRG lowering set up and it also looks great. Not sure on ride quality but everything Greg does seems to work great.

I had a lot of squeaking with my kit. I took a torque wrench to every bolt on the new kit and it took away all squeaks. I have the specs for the torques if you need them.
