it works just fine, no coil bucket binding or anything, I just have to get it aligned today, but I drove it around last night and it was fine, camber looks close too. now to get the PRG shackles........
Yeah, since you have a 4x2, the 2.5 should work without issues... Only thing, with that much lift, you should be a bit higher in the front than the rear, no?
actually it sits dead-balls even.....reason I brought this up is because people have been saying that the '08's sit so much higher in the front (like the 4x4's) that you will get contact between the coil bucket and the a-arms. Im actually going to install the PRG shackles to drop the rear 1" , its all about the gnar gnar cali lean! (I just like this emoticon)
Ill get the before/after pics up tonight after work.
oh yeah, and another thing is NOBODY should pay someone to install these, its so easy it should be a criminal offense for someone to charge more than 1 hour of labor.....

Fivepointnine,
I'm really curious as to how that looks man! I have a 2008.5 4x2 CC and am dying to get the leveling kit. I have been told to go with 2" spacer, which would give me a very small rake, but have always been curious as to what th 2.5" spacer would look like. Also, that size spacer isn't causing any problems with your front shocks over-extending any are they?
you just need to install a longer bumpstop, besides that the front suspension works the same......here is pics, not a huge difference, but pretty decent....
the day I brought it home
600 miles and the 2.5 NCD kit
That looks GREAT! Exactly the look I am wanting to get! You mentioned a longer bumpstop......was that extra? I know both the PRG and the NCD kit come with the replacement bumpstop, but was this "longer" one an additional purchase?

that is why the NCD is so much cheaper, the bumpstop is not included, I paid 89 shipped for the spacers and another $20 shipped for the extended bumpstops..
Well, looks like I may have missed out on that great deal of $89, because according to the NCD website, the spacers are now $209, unless you are a "dealer" or "distributor". If that's the case, NCD just lost my business and will go with PRG instead.
Yeah... The $89 was generally known to be a "hook" to get people to buy them. Several threads on here posted that NCD was selling those at a loss just to get into the market. I guess they figure they have enough of a foothold. But, the crazy thing is, when the spacers are installed, it's virtually impossible to see them under the coilbucket... so what's the point of the additional expense of "anodizing" them black? Just makes them more costly to manufacture... I guess they just wanted to look different from the ones they copied?
check ebay, thats where I got mine......last week....
I will say this, the workmanship is TOP NOTCH, fit perfect, hardware was awesome, had nice locking nuts instead of the cheapo factory non-locking ones.......included new cotterpins for the balljoints. beautiful machining work too.......

Damn I ordered a set for a friend of mine last week and it was a little over $100 with the shipping.
