Re: tubed upper a-arms

All an aftermarket UCA is going to do is provide clearance of the coilbucket when the shock droops out. Thats why us with lifts and go offroad a lot get aftermarket UCA's. Because when that shock droops all the way down, we want max clearance. Hope that helps.

Re: tubed upper a-arms

What exactly are you trying to do? How much of a drop are you talking? You got essentially three options here.

1.) Coilover fronts and shackles rear. (for more drop in the rear remove bottom leaf) Contact Greg at PRG.
2.) Aftermarkit drop kits
3.) Air bags

Re: tubed upper a-arms

The best advice is to pick up the phone and talk to a guy who knows the suspension on these trucks. I promise you wont regret it. He can point you in the right direction and hook you up with the UCA's if you so desire.

PRG Products

Re: tubed upper a-arms

You do not need different UCA. you can actually get creative an flip you uca over and then flip the ball joint, this can help a bit. but really, you dont need different arms to go lower. Just crawl under your truck and look at it for 5 minutes, you'll see what is going on.
