Lowering Titan

As most if not all of you know that i have the 2/3 mcgaughy lowering kit(front coils and rear leafs) with the PRG shackles.

i decided not to buy rear shocks and struts when i bought the kit. now im regretting it.

Ive called 4wheel parts and they said the only company that makes it for the Titan is Belltech. Actually, ive got that from GodFatherCustoms also. But, what i heard from 4wheel parts is that i have to reuse my oem coils with the belltech coil and strut combo.

So, i was really wondering what are the lowered Titans running?

Re: Lowering Titan

I cut the coils up front and removed a leaf in the rear along with adding some drop shackles from belltech that I think are for a Chevy, but I made them fit. I made some drop shock brackets for the rear shocks out of some brackets for a Tahoe. It took some cutting and welding but work great. I think Dodge brackets will work easier. I havn't figured out the front yet, but I am also bottoming out the front strut. I found some lift/lowering struts by Belltech on the Jegs website that I figured I could set the strut in the lifted position and use my chopped coil so it wouldn't bottom out. I ordered the struts and they should be here the 6th of March. I'll try and get some pics posted tonight, I'm sitting at a 2 1/2" front and 4 1/2" drop so far.

Re: Lowering Titan

I just removed my lowering kit. I bought it from another member here and i believe he bought it at streetbeatcust. The kit also came with shorter shock absorbers than stock. here are some pics.

Re: Lowering Titan

sweet... im still looking around. So far what i found out is that Belltech has some shorter struts and shocks for their kit. But i don't know how well those are. MAde my Nitro. I want to try the RADFLOs from PRG, BUT 699 is a crazy price for the front suspension...
