How much lift from 4" PRG??

I'm debating on the Pro Comp 6" Stage II, but the threads convince me to seriously consider the Performance Package from PRG. How much difference in height are we talking about? I know 2" technically...but does it make a noticeable interest visually and performance wise???

Re: How much lift from 4" PRG??

Are you talking about the 4" performance package or the 4" spindle lift???

Your profile does not say 4x4 so you must have a 2x4 ? That is a important factor to this solution.First you have to ask yourself how you will use the truck? Personally I don't like bracket lift kits. so I recommend the 4" performance lift, with the cst 4" lift spindle.5"-6" of lift without preloading the coilover for lift.I wanted a little lift for 35" tires without preloading the coilover. This allows the coilover to dampen the suspension more effectively for the type of off Roading I like to do.A preloaded coilover is stiffer and less forgiving. Making the suspension want to spring back.In other words if I go off a little jump, when I land I would like a soft landing not a hard one catapulting me back into the air. The performance lift gives you upgraded suspension components and the pro comp bracket kit just drops the stock stuff down 6" my .02 Then theres always the last pic.

The best question to ask yourself is what to you want to do with your truck...
The Performance kit is 0"-4" depending on how much you want to load the coilsprings, so if your looking for 6" of lift that's easy, get the 4" lift spindles and the DR shocks.
If you really want performance to match the lift, the spindles, PRG upper arms and PRG's SAW shocks will deliver the goods AND get you the best 6" lift (the SAW's also allow you to adjust the spring load for lift, 0"-3")performance you can get ...without a goofy drop bracket lift...

Re: How much lift from 4" PRG??

Well I guess I'm a tad confused. I think I would try and get the 4" performance package with the Deaver spring and bilstiens in the rear; and then the CST 4" spindles, SAW coilovers, and new upper A arms which I think Greg has some new ones better than TC's.

With this setup I automatically get 4" from the spindles right? Then i could stay at 4" or go up to 6" by increasing the SAW's to give me 2 more inches right?

I don't seriously off-road and it is a 2x4. I want the look and the ability and confidence to get dirty when the opportunity arises. I really like the look of your king cab BEECHLYF What do you have it set at?

Thanks guys.

I have the Donahoe coilovers with a 5/8" spacer so with minimal preload on the coilover I would guess the front lift is 5 1/2" to 6". The sway-a-way coil overs are very nice and they give 1" extra droop travel over the DR.Greg did not have them when I bought mine.

I don't know anything about lifts, but.......it is a 4x2, all the 2x4's are at the lumber yard.

Yes, a bracket lift involves droping the frt diff and x-member and then running taller spindles. This is because the 4wd half shafts can only allow so much up & down travel.
