Just want some input on some of these lifts that are out there. I have an 04 kc 4x4. Its my main tranportation i do quite a bit of driving, last year i put on 15k. Im always off road after work somewhere my stock suspension needs to go!!! I wanna find a lift that I can still drive down the road nicely but can with stand constant abuse I have pro comp 6'' stage 2 in mind and pgr!! What kind of pgr setup would be best. I need it to be level and be able to haul a car trailer once in a while without saging. Proly gonna go with 35's. Will my stock brakes hold up?????? Do i need new gears ?????Any help is great thanks
do you mean PRG? i would get the PRG Pro Comp performance package, UCAs, C-30 deaver pack and shackles. your brakes should be fine just get new pads if your worried about it

Don't buy the Stage 2 ProComp kit. Get the Stage 1 and upgrade to SAW Coils in the front and Bilstein/Saw Shocks in the rear when you have the fundage. I also recommend the Deaver C-30 Leaf Spring Pack (also from PRG). You can't go wrong with the PRG traction bars as well (I recommend the less expensive, yet fully functional, street version). Some like to keep their front sway bar in tact and simply use the endlinks which are included with the ProComp kit. A nice upgrade is the CST endlinks (again, available from PRG). OR, you can be like the rest of us and simply remove the sway bar and endlinks (better for offroading, but since you're towing, I"d leave the swaybar on there).
Any other questions, just fire away!

i pretty much agree with 54warrior but with a few things to keep in mind. first, figure out just how much you want to spend. 2nd, determine how much lift you want. if you want a full 6" or more than go with what 54warrior said. if your really just wanting better suspension and not a whole lot of lift then coilovers, rear shocks, UCA's, and a c-30 deaver pack, all via PRG, should be all you need. but all the advice given so far is good advice.
