Re: rear air ride for lifted titan

If you are just lifted via blocks any air bag will do as they go between the frame and spring. Block goes between spring and axle. I have them they are a must for towing a TT IMO.

Huh? There will be a 6" gap between your axle and spring lifting your truck 6". The space between your frame and top of spring does not change.

Re: rear air ride for lifted titan

One more time. The block goes between the top of the axle and the bottom of the leaf spring. That does not change the space between the frame and the top of the leaf spring which is where the air bag goes. I have a lift and bags, trust me on this one. The only thing that will change the space between your frame and leaf spring is an inflated air bag.

Check out Summit Racing and 4 Wheel Parts. Im almost positive they have the spacer you are looking for. I think they're about $70. I doubt you are, but if by some slim chance you are located in Vegas let me know, my buddy can get them for you at his shop for cheaper than that I believe.

What bags do you have?

The Firestone kit goes from the frame to the axle.

However, Firestone sell 'spacers' for the bottom of the air spring, that will fill that gap. Think of it like a big aluminum donut, 3" thick...to match a 3" lift block.

I think they have them in a number of sizes.

Agreed,I have Ride Rites, mine go from frame to axle.I have a 3" spacer for the lift,4 Wheel Parts sells "cans" to mount under the air bag to correct the spacer difference.Get the same height "can" to match your lift block.
Also don't forget to route the air lines through the frame rails so they don't look like crap zip tied to your frame.

Re: rear air ride for lifted titan

On advice from Greg (PRG) I went with the following. He tested both and said the Firestone's ride like rocks...

Nissan Titan Air Bag Helper Spring Kit 2004-2009 - "Ride Control" Suspension by Air Lift

Re: rear air ride for lifted titan

Might sound like a dumb question but if you go with air bags do you take off the shocks? If so would air shocks be a good way to go as well? Just finishing up a hitch carrier to haul my quad around and it sags pretty bad. Need to do something for when I have one quad in the bed and one hanging off the hitch 4 ft. Any ideas would appreciated, I already have 2 inch leveling kit and wish it was a little higher up all the way around.

Does not replace the shocks. I got mine for towing my TT. I could tow safely but hated the sag. I have the mini-lift too. So the answer is yes this will solve your sag.

Greg is absolutely right - the Firestone bags ride like KRAP when the truck isn't loaded.

I was in a bind and couldn’t get the Air Lift bags in time for a trip so I bought the Firestone version. I pulled a 25' travel trailer with (3) dirt bikes in the bed - it rode like an absolute dream (when loaded). Once I got home and the truck resumed its daily-driver duties, it was terrible. Even with no air in bags, it rode like krap. I pulled them off a week later and returned them.

Once again, Greg was right.
