Anyone know what the deal is with PRG?
I have phoned them at least 4 times leaving messages over a few months, I have friends who have tried to reach them as well all with no response ever regarding purchasing lift kits.
Do they not care about our business or do they just not care at all?
It's my understanding that Greg works out of his house...doesnt have more than a couple of employee's if that...and generally stays pretty busy. Yes, he is hard to get on the phone...yes, it has irritated me in the past... But when you do finally catch him, you realize that he knows how to fix your problem or understands what you are trying to accomplish before you finish explaining it to him.
The benefit of dealing with Greg is that he has real world experience with parts related to our trucks...he stands behind the products that he sells...and he is particullarly friendly when you get him on the phone. The downside is that he's hard to get in touch with sometimes...and your right, no one ever returns phone calls. You have to decide if the benefits out weigh the detriments in your mind...good luck
Sorry... First time posters don't get the benefit of the doubt from me.... especially when bitching about someone like PRG.
As stated, he's a small business... and even when you do get him on the phone... and while he's explaining things to you in infinite detail... he's still walking around his shop WORKING! That guy is one of the busiest mofo's I know.
Don't concentrate on emails. They're not the first line of contact. You need to remember, he's 3 hours off the right time... EST.
If you are truly interested in the best suspension advice and parts for your vehicle, you'll want to lose the attitude and try a few different times of day to call. You won't be sorry you did.
Just like mentioned above call him first thing in the morning. I just talked to Greg on Friday and he said that first thing in the morning the earlier it is the more likely you are to talk to him. Once you do get a hold of him he has awesome customer service.
i've emailed him once for a simple question and he emailed me back in less than an hour IIRC. try a different method of communication if the 1st one doesn't work.
what is it that you want? maybe others here can answer your question...

Apparently to bitch about customer service, which he has not received, since he actually hasn't talked to Greg yet.
Call any company out there, that you can get on the phone, and I'll gurantee their "techs" don't know a 1/3 of what Greg knows.
Maybe your attitude is coming through on your voice mails??
Nasty voice mails usually are the last one's I call back. Just my .02
Yep hes defiantly hard to get a hold of sometimes but when you do its worth it. He has replaced stuff for me that I broke during installs that was neither his or the products fault with no questions asked. Not being able to contact him is worth it to me when you have a real problem. Most places you cant get into contact with them and when you do you get sorry not our problem. Him it takes a week or two sometimes to get in contact but when you do he jumps through hoops to make you happy. Plus he knows what hes doing so I will pick the lesser of two evils.

I called like 8 times over 3 days trying to reach him, I dont normally leave voice mails then friday I did and he got back to me on saturday. Hes hard to get a hold of but after talking to him Im deff happy, he goes out of his way to take care of you. Everyday now I run home hopping for some boxes Im crossing my fingers for tonight.
I haven't had any issues with PRG customer service. As with any business (especially small ones) can be hard to get a hold of but from my experience so far Greg has been amazing with my service. I have called him a couple times about my UCAs and LCA spacers and he has always taken as much time as I needed to understand what he was telling me. He is overwhelmingly one of the most helpful people I have ever talked with about car parts. I'd rather it take a bit to get a hold of him but get solid answers from someone who knows what he is talking about then get my call answered in 5 seconds and be told the person on the other end "doesn't know" as I've heard from a lot of companies out there.

Greg is a pain to get a hold of but when you do, its worth the wait. He knows what he is talking about and will talk your ear off.
Thats the god honest truth. I remember when I bought my suspension stuff for my 06. Awesome experience once I got ahold of him. He must have talked with me on the phone for 15-20 minutes. He will be getting my business when I get the cash to get my 09 set up.
