That's because yours is a 2wd, wich is a full 1.5" shorter then a 4wd. So you have more room to play with.

Re: obviously the wrong leveling kit... ;(

I put on a 2" spacer on my 08 and had to do some heavy grinding to prevent contact it still hits when fully extended.

Has anyone done this and caused any bad side effects?

I have a little bit of hitting on mine, not enough to spend $600 or so for new UCAs and thought I might try it.

Re: obviously the wrong leveling kit... ;(

Well, got the Rough Country upper control arms installed today. AWESOME!!! UCA's and new ball joints. Had it re-aligned and ready to roll! no "clunk" now. Sits tall. Now I wish I would have gone with a 1.5 or 2" rear block, but definately not complaining. I will get pictures posted soon.

How's the quality of the Rough Country UCA's?? They are so inexpensive that it worries me a little...

Re: obviously the wrong leveling kit... ;(

I too ordered the Rough Country UCA kit today. I couldn't justify spending more than twice as much for the TC or PRG ones. I saw a thread on CT that had several members witt the rough country kit with no problems. I also don't do serious offroading so I should be good to go. I ordered Bilstein Adjustable shocks to add an additional 1'' or so of lift. Will prob put deavers in the rear!

Re: obviously the wrong leveling kit... ;(

Its a good kit and for the money you can't beat it. The RC UCA's weigh at least 1# more that the stockers and have replaceable ball joints.
