Question Bilstein 5125's whos got em?

Thinking about going with Bilstein 5125's and Deaver C-10 for the rear anyone rocking the 5125's and if so how do you like them?

Re: Bilstein 5125's whos got em?

I loved the bilsteins and they are a 200% improvement over stock or any other shock not a coilover. They were the best ride on the streets yet very controlled when loaded or offroading. They tend to fade quick while on the dirt but if that's your concern you should be getting coilovers. but before they fade on the dirt it rides controlled! I switched to saws and the street ride is harsher but even more controlled and offroad.....well...

hope that answers your question

I have them for the rear using my stock leafs and a 1.5" block. I am not good with explaining the technical terms, but they just feel better. They are a descent upgrade for not much money!

Thanks,

Zack

Why do you keep referring to coilovers for the rear?

I have them with a 2" rear block. I find they ride much better than the factory shocks.

Re: Bilstein 5125's whos got em?

I just got mine last week and with a 6" lift the truck still rides better than it did stock. Combining it with a deaver pack should give you even better ride.

I had that set up 3 years ago, and it is a great improvement over stock.
Also the stock shocks are junk right off the lot!

Re: Bilstein 5125's whos got em?

If I used longer shocks with stock leaf springs how big of an issue would that be? I bought em to use with the deaver c10 but I'm not going to use the deaver pack anymore.
