Re: Leveling kit help!

The 2.5" kit is for a 2wd, so coil bucket to stock UCA contact is much more likely than if you buy the correct level kit for a 4x4, which is the PRG 2". For more apparent front lift you should consider the PRG shackles that can be set at 0, 1/2", or 1" rear drop.

And you will eliminate the chance of the stock leaf shackles unrolling at the crappy welds, and having your leaf spring tear up through your bed. The new Titan shackles are better than the old ones but won't adjust for drop.

Re: Leveling kit help!

Put something in front of the front tires so the truck doesn't roll then unbolt the bottom bolts on the shocks and then the U bolts, jack the back of the truck up ( I used the hitch as my jacking point ). You might have to hit the shackles with a hammer to get the axle to separate then put the blocks on. I had to put a few peaces of wood on my jack to get the back end to go high enough but that's it.
