Re: 4" lift vs. 6" lift

This what I would do If I were you. It would be 0-3 inches of lift in the front. It would improve your ride tremendously.

Re: 4" lift vs. 6" lift

thanks but i was looking for something a little less like around 1500 at the most because i could just go with the pro comp 6" for 1500 and was thinking i would be able to save some cash by doing 4' lift instayed of 6"?

Re: 4" lift vs. 6" lift

no offense but chill out w/ your 10 min intervals seeking a response. you'll find answers if you search. the 4" extended travel kit is about the same price as most of the 6" lifts.

Re: 4" lift vs. 6" lift

I had a 7" CST lift with SAW coilovers and PRG UCA's. If I went that route again I would just do the extended travel package that I posted the link for above. I'm not a fan of bracket lifts.

Why don't you like bracket lifts? I'm torn between the PRG perf lift or a 6" bracket kit and would appreciate any input.

If you want it tall then the bracket lift is for you. You will have more travel with performance lift (unless you add all those components to the lift, then it will be the same amount of travel). The lower the ride height, the better your truck will handle. Like I said if you want your truck tall and have the extra $1500-$1900 for the lift then go for it but I would personally rather have my truck lower and keep the $1500.

Another thing to consider is tire size too. You arent going to be able to run as bog of a tire with the performance lift but considering we are 4wd and they dont make front gears for us I wouldnt want to go any bigger than a 35 which the performance lift should clear with the PWM.

I believe the Rancho kit is about as cheap as they get.
