Opinions on Front Lift

2008 LE, Looking at some 305/55/20 TerraGrapplers on stock set. I would like to go for a slight lift and am considering some Sway-A-Way coilovers from PRG for the front to level out. From experience, I used to run a F-150 4x4 with a 2" leveling kit and it handled like ****. Will I get what I pay for with the coilovers or should I hold out for a full-on lift kit? My personal opinion of a leveling kit is ****. My goal is maybe 1-2" lift, fully level to keep a low p.o.g. for running. Thanks for all opinions in advance.

I would get either the PRG Sway-A-Way OEM Titan Replacement 2.5 Coilovers or the Icon Titan Coilovers. I had the DRE c.o. (company is Icon), set for 2" with the stock UCA, and they handled amazingly well. I would think you would get similar results with the stock application SAWs from PRGproducts.com

I later upgraded the UCA and added a 1" spacer that PRG designed for the DRE for this application, and it handled almost as well, but the lower center of gravity at 2" was a hair better. But in the curves they are still amazing, even with my M/Ts.

Re: Opinions on Front Lift

I started out with the 2" Mini-Lift, it still rode just like stock but it left that taste for wanting more lift. I upgraded to a 6" lift at the beginning of this year, then finally replaced the OEM coilovers with SAWs from PRG just about a month ago. The SAWs are super smooth, especially offroad. My front end now stays smooth and stable to the point you'd underestimate the roughness of terrain if it wasn't for the rear bouncing all around like a salt shaker.
