Hey guys., new here. All the way From Canada!! Quick question. Im lifting my truck with procomp 6". Haven't order it but I found one on ebay for 1300. My question is... on a stock truck, does the front rubber bump stops allways touches between the control arm and frame? Mine is allways touching. Just wondering if there should be a gap there when its not moving. And if so, will it still touch with the lift done? Also the truck was used to plow snow. Its allso a 4x4 offroad

The guy could have put Timbrens on it to be able to support the weight of the plow...It shouldn't touch in regular configuration. Does the bump stop appear to be pretty large? Pics??? Ohh and Welcome to TT!

Your 4wd should have some room before the bump hits the contact pad....My 2wd stock was very close and the pad was flat with no real compression travel...
The ones from Greg @ PRG are better then the 2-1/4" units from Energy Suspension (Not knocking ES, they make good products, just that Gregs are 2-1/2" instead and hold up better because of that)

Hey guys Thanks for the quick responds!! Tomorrow morning I'll have pics of the rubber stoppers. And maybe somebody can tell me if my springs are sagging or if the owner before me put bigger stops.
Ok here are some pics hope this works!!! Also, the height to the bottom of the fender is 35.5 to 36 inches. What do you guys think. My concern is that when I put the 6 inch procomp lift is there going to be any issues if the springs are sagging . Should I buy some used factory springs or "coilovers" Please let me know if this is normal.
Where the heck did that huge rubber marshmellow come from!....

Those aren't bumpstops, they're some sort of load helper bushings, probably to support the weight of the plow. The ProComp Lift relocates the bumpstops over onto the Drop Bracket that you add in so those helper bushings you have will be worthless. I would definitely be concerned with your existing springs sagging. IMHO, you should order some new Sway-A-Way coilovers from PRG Products that are designed for the ProComp Bracket Lift:
They might seem expensive but they seem to me to be worth every penny. They come with Eibach Springs that are much better than our OEM Springs. PRG will powdercoat the springs a different simple color if you don't like Silver, you just need to call to request it. The Sway-A-Way will never need to be replaced again because the internals are rebuildable IF it ever did wear out. The ride is AWESOME, these shocks ride smoother than a hot knife cutting through a stick of butter, after you remove your Sway Bar with them on.
PRG powdercoated my springs Red for me, here's a pic:
Guys, thanks for the Help!! Its good to know that there's people out there that know their stuff!! I would imagine that the coils couldn't sag too much since the rubber stopper is taking the weight. The truck rides very nice actually, I would think that it would ride like sh*t too but it still bounces like normal. I ordered my lift kit 30minutes ago from Top Gun Customz. Anybody ever heard of them? They are located in TN. I would get my stuff from PRG, but thats the other side of the country. Im located near Windsor Ontario wich is border with Detroit Mich. S0shipping of the whole kit to Detroit was only 69 bucks! And the kit was 1250! Im installing it my self. So If I run into any issues I will come back here and start asking questions!!! I have done a lift on a Jeep Rubicon (sold it for a titan). I have done some major and small work on my cars... so I should be fine. If there's anything that i should know before hand.... please let me know. After the install, if I realize that my coils are sh*t then I will order the sway-away ones for sure.
Off topic here... I'm also running into that problem of the hot engine not going over 3500 rpms and the tranny not shifting. Changed the plugs....same. Next Im going to get the injectors cleanned at the dealer. If that doesn't work then I'll get the trans cleaned. No codes they say. I got a video of the truck running good and they running poor after 30 minutes of driving. But this only happens if I step on it all the way.
Your engine problem sounds like it's going into "Limp Mode". I had an O2 sensor go bad on wifey's Murano that caused it to do that. A bad MAF sensor can also cause it and if your Engine Temp Guage is showing Hot, then I'd change the thermostat and flush the radiator for new Antifreeze/Coolant. You might wanna also look at your throttle body to see if it needs to be cleaned up.
