You mean to install a heim on a CST 4" lift spindle to work with your NC D UCA I think it should work.

Instead of the uniball misalignment spacer the heim would mount right on top to accept the NCD UCA

Re: Need some help with spindles...

OK...You're taliking about going to a verticle uni-ball, correct?...

I would think the CST upright would lend itself to verticle ball with the correct "adapter"....

Re: Need some help with spindles...

Now I see....you want to drill and tap for a rod end....That's going to be a big drill/tap!....

You would want to pull off the spindle and set it up in a mill/lathe to get it drilled/tapped nice and square...

Couldn't you just stick it through the top, thread the nut on and tighten just like it was on the stock spindle.

In theroy, yes, but I think the OP needs to run a much bigger rod end then that....The taper adapter runs a 5/8" bolt, correct?....I would think that the rod end would be 3/4" - 7/8"....

I just took another look at one of the pics with a rod end thru a stock spindle....you might be right, maybe it will just bolt straight in...

hey, I have a nissan titan with the ncd long travel kit (unfortunately) and
I was wondering if your 4\" spindle lift would work with a hiem???

thank you
"

so I guess id have to drill it, but their cost is 900+ shipping and I talked to our guy from fontana nissan about the camburg spindles and it would cost 1200 for it!!!!!

so if push comes to shove im going to try and get more for my front diff/housing etc. and get the camburg ones!!!!

What size rod end are you looking for?
They're sized by "Bore" and "Thread"....Many are same bore as thread...3/4" by 3/4".....and others are 7/8" by 3/4" and all the threads are fine pitch....
