Noise in the front end

I installed a Rancho 4” suspension lift on my 07 Titan a few weeks ago. A few days after it was installed I started noticing a popping in the front end. It happens when the front end is under load in corner (not aggressively driving). It also happens if I hit a real big pot hole. We have been back over the whole thing a few times to check all the bolts. I haven’t noticed any wear on any of the parts. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to check or change? Thank you.

Re: Noise in the front end

unhook the swaybar drive the same road and see if it pops. It could be the end links, just a thought...

the knuckle on your spindle jumps the LCA you gotta grind it down a bit. all titans do that at one point, if you kept your stock coilovers or even if you got the ranchos it will still do it. i have the radflo externals and once in a blue moon it happens.

K well i found one pic on my folders. This is only the front were it will hit if lets say you go over a bump, and your turning while your going over the bump. This will happen only if one wheel is crossing at a time you will get the thump sound when the wheel lands with all the weight. also you will need to check the back of the spindle and LCA. you may need grind the back and front of the spindle and LCA were their is contact. to know were theirs is contact you gotta test by turning on the truck and while on park turn the wheel all the way and were it stops you can see were their will be contact if you go over a bump. If your saying wait how is this possible ill give you a ex of how this works. when you go over the bump and all the pressure is on one wheel when it lands the spindle moves up and down just enough to thump the LCA this is the noise your hearing. hope this helps.

Re: Noise in the front end

Not trying to Hijack post however, I put a leveling kit on and I'm having a popping issue. Only when I'm making sharp turns at slow speeds, (EX. backing out of parking spots and turning tight) It's never down it while driving, even off road in some very ruff stuff. It's very hard to describe the sound it is like a pop. Very frustrating anyone else experience this?
