Im a family of one myself, but Iwent with the CC just because my last two trucks were CC, and I liked the extra room in those as well as the Titan. Plus I always end up driving anywhere I go anyway, so it works out. The short bed is long enough fir me since my quad slips right in there alot better than the Tacoma I had
IMHO...Nissan misfired on this aspect of the truck. The CC is too big and thus sacrificies bed length, and the KC is way too small. I'm 6'1" and my general rule is I need to be able to sit behind the driver seat with my own settings. I could barely get my 4 year old son comfortable in the KC Titan.
This is the first thing I've checked when compaing Dodge, Ford, Nissan. I think Dodge has the best of both worlds with the 4 doors and 6'3" bed. The Ford Supercab is decent though, because the driver's seat sits up higher which allows you to move the seat forward more. You can also get an 8' bed with the Ford Supercab.
This and the wimpy seats have caused me to "hold out" on my purchase...can't afford to sacrifice on this purchase, need this truck to last for quite awhile.
The Titan CC also looks "out of balance" because of the generous amount of space in the rear...kind of that Exploer Trac look.
I would not change a thing. I love my CC. I use the bed alot. If I need the extra foot in the bed, then I drop the tail gate and make sure I have what ever is back there strapped down real well. I love the room of the CC.
I do agree however, that Nissan should have had a long bed option on the CC. I would have done it.

King Cab. It just seems sportier. I like it for the same reason I would prefer a 2- door coupe to a 4-door sedan. But I'm single. And I've fouond that my 95lb. German Shepard has plenty of room in the back with the seats up.
When it comes "family" time and I need four seats..I'll just go with an actual SUV...a Mercedes G-500. Yeah right...I wish!

King Cab because I do use mine as a truck, and I didn't want to lose the foot or so out of the bed. Also, I seldom carry back seat passengers, and when I do, it's generally not a problem because it's usually for short distances. That said, I ended up with the LE (which I really didn't need or necessarily want) because at the time, they couldn't find the options and color I wanted in a SE... besides the LE ended up costing me only a few hundred dollars more.

Gimme a break. This turns into a my thing is bigger than yours, too.
It's a simple matter of preference and features
Agreed. Do people expect others to have any respect for whatever they have to say after saying that 50% +/- of the people made the wrong choice?
I chose my king cab based on price, looks, and no kids. Plus the guys at work with crew cabs get stuck driving everyone to lunch every day.

I got the KC because it will fit in my garage, I don't think the CC will. Also the KC has a bigger bed, and is also a little cheaper.
CC and Kc Titans are the same lenth. I have the CC and love it. If the load is too long for the shorter cab, I just use the utilitrack system and tie it down.

Options in order:
2 degree timing advance thanks to Titanblue,
Fram AirHog, Nissan Hood Protector, Truxedo, Nissan XM receiver (mounted under steering wheel area as per Forum recommendations....worked like a charm)
with non-Nissan much smaller Xm antenna (mounted through Third brake light hole...piece of cake), and last....so far, PRG leveling kit (love it....no problem install after I realized that I really should listen to PRGreg about disconnecting the anti sway bar)
