What brand truck did you own before the Titan? - Page 8

1997 Ford F-150 XL 4.2L V-6. Closest new truck I've had other than the Titan. It only had 5k miles on it when I bought it, and 125K on it when I sold it. Good truck, except for the motor blowing up at 116K miles.

2000 white Ford F-150 extended cab 5speed manual with a 6 banger. got great gas mileage, definitely weak under the hood, but fun to drive. I drove the crap out of that thing, and it kept on coming back for more. Drive shaft broke at 60 grand miles, while i was cruising on the freeway. weird. besides that, and going through front brakes pads every month (lifetime warranty might have made pep boys potentially bankrupt) no other problems. Titans looked bad ***, fell in love at first sight, took it for a test drive, and the rest is history!!

Purchased New in 2000 a Toyota Tundra "2000 Truck of the Year" Yeah the tranny went after 78,000 miles Dealership wanted $3,800.00 to fix it I got them down to $1,000.00 and a free oil change. They fixed it. I picked it up and drove it 2-1/2 miles up the road to the Nissan dealership and traded it for a New 04' Titan. We'll see.

Same, but Lifted with 33in all terrains, but unlike urs my gas mileage was horrible in it, i got about 10, i get better in the titan so its a major plus!
