just changed my oil last saturday to Mobil 1 5w30 SuperSyn 15k, my engine operating temp appears a bit lower and the oil pressure gauge hardly ever spikes like it did with the dino, which i still think is weird, but oh well...

Hey tort....ha ha that sounded funny...anyway, what weight dino were you running before?
Anyone every use Formula Shell? I get it at Advance Auto for $1.55 a quart. So far so good.
Yes, since I got some at .59 cents a quart, but I use some extra ZDDP and Moly adds with it to shore it up, courtesy of 6 oz Valvoline SynPower additive. Got a very good analysis result with this brew.

Yeah, I didn't like to fight when I was a kid. Mainly because it was always that one guy and his four friends that wanted to kick my butt all at the same time.
since break-in at 1500 miles i've used Mobil1 5w30 synthetic and Fram Tough Gaurd filters. I've used that on all my vehicles for the last 3-4 years. I'm on a 6K or 6mth whatever comes first oil/filter change interval. Would prefer to use Purolator filters but hard to find in my area.
I've heard good things about the Nissan oil filter, does anyone know who makes them?
I finally hit 3000 over the weekend so I made the switch to M1 10-30 and Pure one. And you guys were not kidding about a gorill aputting the factory filter on.
