I agree that we have some very talented artists here...and if they know what size the member truck pic is going to be...they will be able to create banners that allow for it....sort of like going to a tourist place where you stick your head through a hole and get your picture taken having Arnold's body.

Woohoo! Thanks for pulling through Sammy! I like the one you did far better than the new one currently atop the page. It would be better if it had my truck, but Pagerdaddy's working on that part for us.

That looks good Sammy...we could let the members to submit a certain size picture, or a complete banner....what do we need to specify for dimensions, etc?

No, the bigger the better. I can shrink stuff, but I cant blow it up (and maintain quality)

Nice looking banner Sammy. What program did you use to create that?

So do you just want to do the truck pics for now? We need to set a closing date for the submissions before doing a poll to choose one...that way the members will be able to see all the choices before voting their favorite.

For what? Using that banner and a image rotation script? Hmm, I suppose the larger the better because it definately requires some editing to get it to look like that. I could probably whip up a different header that would make it easier to use such a script, but it wouldn't look as cool (well I suppose that's subjective.) I'm about to rack out, but maybe next week I can see what I come up with.

I've got to work tomorrow....so I'll be heading off to bed any time now...

John, I'll go ahead and post a thread asking for picture submissions. We can work out the closing dates later. I guess that the amount of interest shown in it will help in that regard.

Not bad for someone trying to learn to fly without wings.

How bout this one? The truck on the left could be made to swap out. I'd be willing to maintain a collection of the member's trucks by editing them to work with it.

Thanks?

I used to do web design on the side when I was in college. I'm no Photochopper, mainly web graphics. I use Fireworks, as it fits the bill and PS is more than I'd ever need (and $$)

Some old designs for a website that doesn't exsist anymore:

Question Neither is appealing to me.....

The new header looks like an 04 Nissan Titan Ad=Bland......the old one is now OLD. How about a pic. on each side with a street Titan on one side and an Off-Road Titan on the other......this way each month one of each category can be viewed? Also the header could be a little taller.
Peace-Tom Titan Header

I like the one with the gal in it! Is that Terri Hatcher? Forget the trucks, put someone like her in it every week. Seriously, I prefer the new banner with a monthly member's Titan showcased. You computer guys do some neat stuff. Thanks for your work.
