Convert the 12V aux power in the bed to a 7 pin?

I did a search for this, but could not find anything, so thought I'd post..

Has anybody coverted their 12V aux power outlet in the bed to a 7 pin connector? I tow a fifth wheel and would like to plug it into the bed rather than have the long cable draped over the tailgate to plug inot the connecter at the tow hitch.

Thanks.

I bought the 12 Volt Outlet from Nissan, and it appears to be the same size Plug as the 7 Pin. Good mod for you to do! Should be easy.

Yup, I've done it. Minimal cutting required. I used the 7-pin/4-pin unit from Hoppy.

Yeah it's Hoppy part #40955, got mine at Wally World. It has about a foot long pigtail on it, so it allows you to use the factory trailer wiring harness without cutting/extending anything.
