I used to think the same thing, but after reading the other thread that was mentioned earlier in this thread, I may have to change my mind. Check this out. The Code on the door jamb, may no longer indicate the axle ratio. Of course, a quick crawl under the truck will verify the axle. Everything points to the 09 being a BT, which he really needs for the trailer he has.

'08+ got the updated axle, the one where the Truetrac "doesn't" work. The Truetrac, as far as I can tell, was also only for open diffs pre-'08. I'm guessing it's like this:

2004-2007 OR (e-locker): CC33
2004-2007 BT/non-BT: CC29
2008+ ALL: CC33

The OP has stated his sticker on his axle verified that he DOES have the BT gears. So all the speculation about the CC29 or CC33 is moot, at least for the OP.

Is BIG Tow a US designation? The brochure for my 2007 Titan shows all models except an XE 4X2 with 3.36:1 axle ratio. Mine came equipped with the tow package called The Ultimate Pull (up to 9500 pounds towing capacity) which includes a heavy duty battery, extendable outside mirrors with wide angle mirrors on the bottom (great for backing into parking spots) tranny temp gauge, Class IV reciever hitch, 7 pin wiring harness and brake controller pre-wiring under the dash. No sticker on the differential.
