Hitch drop height for towing with Titan

For all of you out there who have towed with your Titan did you find it difficult to get your hitch height adjusted properly due to the height of the rear of the Titan?

The top of my hitch is 22" from the ground which seems like it will make me need a rather large drop to get my trailer level. I have a 24' travel trailer with an equalizer hitch.

I am using a 6" drop shank now and it worked for my Durango but that hitch was only 17" from the ground. I now have an extra 5" of height to deal with.

And I can't flip the axles on the TT because mine are torsion axles not springs...darn!!

Any comments...........ideas..........

Match the drop of the hitch to the vehicle that is towing and to the height of the trailer.
(you need a new drop hitch to match the new truck)

The largest drop size i saw was an 8" drop but there is no way you are that far off from the trailer. My truck is lifted and i got a drop and it's just about level.

I have the answer for you... I have a smaller QUAD trailer with the same problem.... So I found a dirt cheap 12 point adjustable shank. Works Great!

42 Bucks. It's a hidden hitch best price I found. I now own one.
