Towing travel trailer - first time
I took my travel trailer for it's first tow with the Titan, so I could adjust the brake controller. The trailer is about 5,000 lbs / 700 lbs tongue weight, and I'm using load leveling type hitch. The Titan tows my trailer with hardly any effort. Gets right up to 55-60 mph, almost like there's nothing back there. I put the tranny in 4th gear and set the tow mode switch to "on". I bought the Titan to replace my 2000 Tundra SR5 Access Cab 4.8L V8, for better towing performance. Although this was just a short test tow, I am very impressed with its performance.
