Nissan Titan and gulfstream Conquest 24 FBS travel trailer

My wife and I decided on the Gulfsteam Conquest 24FBs trvalel trailer. The weight of the trailer is 4744 lbs with a hitch weight of 450 lbs and the length is 26'6 inches.I think this is a good match for my titan,What does everyone else think? Does anyone have a opinion on the Gulfstream Conquest Travel Trailer.

Well I am an RV newbie (on land based RV's that is, please forgive me if the following is elementary as I do not know your TT background ), but I too am focusing in on this size TT (though a little lighter since I have an XE).

All the (excellent) weight/length calculators at www.rvtowingtips.com concur, also checkout www.rv.net forums (even the Dodge and Ford guys are nice to the Titan there...they know they have to respect it since it will do 0-60 far quicker than any of the big three with a big trailer ).

Also the 4744lb figure is a base trailer. Assuming you are getting a/c, awning and other frills add another 300-350lb, and another 500-700 for supplies and gear. Make sure you won't exceed either GVWR or CGVWR with this trailer.

I pull a Forest River Cheyenne 29Z. It's a 30 footer with a slide. Weight dry is 7,900 lbs. It pulls it just fine!

Bill and Denise,

Should be an easy match for the truck. Smae length etc we are looking at when we jump on one.
