Lightbulb Titan Towing with Quick Draw Double Baller

Hey guys - Well I got to tow for the first time with my Titan. So with this towing trip I of course had to get my first add-on to the truck. I bought a Quick Draw Hitch System. I picked it up for $230. Probably more than if I shopped around...but who cares. Anyhow, I loaded my Jeep (4K lbs) onto the Uhaul car carrier which has an empty weight of 2K lbs for a total weight of 6K lbs. The Titan pulls it with no sweat.

Here is a picture of the hitch system I bought.

Mine is chrome to match the tow mirrors and all the other chrome my truck has. Hope to post pictures soon. This experience has taken the Daystar lift off of my list of add-ons. The truck is perfectly level while towing!
Anyhow I will be driving over mountains over the next several days. Will get online sometime later and let you know how it goes.

got one just like it, except mine is black. I have had it for a couple of years now and it works great. Weighs a freakin ton but I like it because you can adjust it so many ways.
I just use it when I tow my camper or a large flat bed trailer. Use a regular 2" drop hitch for my utility trailer.

Hitch is sweet but if your towing a Jeep and trailer then you really need a weight distribution hitch with sway control. But with a rental you probally got surge brakes and it is a PITA to set up WDH on something you don't own.

I had just posted a thread asking about this hitch and what size drop to get. Is the 6 inch drop all I will need for a stock Titan to handle just about any trailer height ? Also, does anyone see any drawbacks of the Tri-Ball hitch?

From my understanding your hitch ball should be 18 or so inches from ground level. If you plan on lifting your Titan buy the longer one. Otherwise this one will work just fine. Will try to take some pictures soon.
