Need help w/ electrical & towing

I was closing my camper for winter and brought it from storage to my home. I left it hooked up while cleaning etc. What I noticed was I had no power from the Titan to the camper. I usually do not rough camp and this year I didnt even put the camper battery in. With my F150 I had power direct from the battery to the camper via the connector. I assumed the prewired Titan would be the same. I haven't had time to start research on this but I thought I would take the lazy man approach and tap into the vast knowledge of this site. Anyone know if and what I need to get power from Titan to Camper?? Thanks in advance.

I was wondering the same thing, only with a boat trailer. My lights worked fine when I towed it with my xterra. The only difference was I had to use an adapter to go from 7-4 pin on the X, but now with a 7-7 connection I don't get any power to the trailer. Is there something that has to get plugged in for the tow package connector to work?

Yes there are two relays under the hood that supply power to the connector in the back: Click Here

I know of the relays. I have the tow package and my lights, electric brakes etc all work. The 7 pin connectors usually have a power wire running from the battery through a resetting breaker back to connector which provides power to the electric converter on the trailer which powers all interior lights, radio etc. This is what my question concerns. Thanks again.

So, even with the big tow pakage, you still have to supply your own relays? Sorry I didn't mention that earlier.

No, you get the relays with Big Tow.

You should have constant 12v to the trailer. Mine works fine and I just have the dealer installed hitch, not the tow package.

On mine, the pin assignments on the trailer electrical connector are inscribed on the plastic connector cap. You might try testing the one identified as the 12V hot lead with a volt meter.
