Trailer Lights : running lights not working

I have blinker and brake lights to the rear plug. However I have no running lights. I pulled the lid on the fuse box and it seems confusing to me. On my past Chevy's they were just basic fuses to see if you'd blown. Any ideas for me????? thanks

The fuse for the trailer running lights is behind the relay box on the right side of the engine compartment. If you added the hitch (not big tow package) you will have to add the two relays. Do a search. This has been discussed several times.

My truck has the relay in there for "Tow #2". Does it need more?

With the factory hitch there are 2 modules that go to the bottom (front) and the right of the orange one you see in your pic. I believe one is for a trailer brake module and the other one is for the running/trailer lights.

i read that you need the tow relay 1 and 2 for running lights to work, without them you only get brake lights and blinker as you described. i cant remember if you need both. I have an extra set of tow relay 1 and 2 brands new OEM if you want them for 40 shipped. i just bought an oem hitch and didnt know it came with the relays. when i researched people informed me to buy the relays if i want running lights so now i have an extra set let me know.

email me if you want the relays
