Just bought the airlift kit for the Titan. My question is, am I going to have to modify the kit so that it will fit? I have not received the kit yet because fedex didn't want to deliver it yesterday.
But, anyways, will it fit? I believe I may have like 5inches of space between my leaf and frame. Or, about an asian fist.
It will fit, barely. I installed mine with the third leaf removed. Put 5 lbs of air in and it will ride rough as hell. Put 10 in and it will be unbearable.
Maybe it will work for you with the McGaugheys leaf springs. The OEM with 3rd leaf removed was horrible. Unloaded bed+pothole or bump=spine buster. Good luck bud.
Yeah, shouldn't be bad. I called Airlift to see if they had a shorter bag; figured it was worth a shot. But, they said they don't and that the bags for the Titan are some of the smallest ones there are. sucks
i'm thinking about just getting Belltech lowering struts for the front and raising my PRG shackles to level out the rear. It'll still look lowered, but it'll be higher... my rear before the bags were at 33 1/4. now they sit at 34 1/4. MUCH harsher ride though.
I wonder what the stock height is.
