the best price I found was at Uhaul of all places. go to the website and get the phone numbers for all of the stores in your area. then call each one until you find one that has it in stock. $134.00 after tax and it's round tube with a nice gloss black finish. Very nice quality with grade-8 bolts ready to bolt on.
however, if you haven't bought the relays and trailer wiring plug yet you might consider buying the nissan hitch with everything togethor from one of the forum sponsors. I think it's cheaper that way.
BTW, you might have found the 7 pin plug under your bumper, it's not the same 7 pin plug as a trailer, it's just a round harness that fits the Nissan trailer plug.

Save no bucks

I agree, buy the OEM Nissan hitch. You might think you are going to save money with the U-haulone, but in the end you wont. Been there-done that.

I purchased a 99 Ford Ranger with the tow package, but the hitch (ironically) was not included. It had the transmission cooler, lower gears etc. but no hitch! So, Before delivery I purchased the hitch. Thinking I'd get the Ford factory hitch installed, they simply took it to an aftermarket place in town and got a class III installed. The hitch assembly finish started rusting not two years after the vehicle purchase.

Get the NISSAN hitch.

Hitch Purchase

Try www.etrailers.com. They were fast, knew I needed the fuses and the connector plugs, and they delivered to the house in only a couple of days.
