trailer wiring harness question
I was reading on other post that all Tiatns are pre-wired for a trailer 7-pin connector. I found the wiring harness under the rear bumber of my XE. My question is, If there are no pre-wire connectors for electric brakes in the cab, then why did Nissan put a 7-pin connector in the rear? If you wanted to use the electric brakes on a trailer , how would you access the wires in the cab to hook up the controller? Just wondering ??
