Anyone itching to tow??

I have close to 3K miles on my truck so far, and still haven't gotten to tow anything with it. My wife and I are buying a boat next spring, hence me buying the beast in the first place, but I am just ITCHING to tow something.

Am I the only one with this need to tow?!? Maybe because it's my first full size truck. I actually thought about renting a utility trailer just to pull around town..LOL. Maybe I'm just nutz.

Man I feel Ya...

I was at the beach last week and got the same urge.
All of a sudden I decided it was must that I bust out the Tow Straps and pull up a bunch of big ol' logs for everyone to use as seats around the fire.

Man its fun pullin' stuff around. Felt like a big *** Kid in a Big *** Sandbox. I even got to pull a few cars who got stuck in the sand.

Ha yeah I Know what you mean! I can't wait to tow with my truck!!! I drive a big *** dump truck @ work and tow a 40' trailer w/ a backhoe loaded up all day long, but thats just uncomfortable. No AC, No Power, no Radio, terrible ride!! I told my buddy that next time his mustang needs a tow to the HP Challenge in Chino to let me know, I'd haul it!

Yeah, you can add just about everything you need to duplicate the Big Tow except the lower gears. Unless you intend to tow heavy - over 7,000 lbs. the lower gears will probably not matter.

One modest recommendation. When you add the receiver hitch, go Class IV/V, get a good brake controller like Prodigy, and spend a few bucks for a transmission temp gauge. That gauge can save your butt. It's a pretty important part of Big Tow. Keep the temps down, get your electric brakes set right and you'll never have a problem.

LOL I can't fault you there, I've been thinking about doing the same thing. I got the truck to have fun w/ and being able to tow my car to and from the track was just a bonus. But yeah, I'd though about renting a trailor and towing my car around for a day just to see how it did.

I just got home from camping. Towing? It's great, but can't even feel it back there

Just got back from a 700+ mile round trip camping trip to Stowe Vermont and all I can say is......it's worth the wait! I've been towing our 28' TT for some time now and it never gets old. I'm always amazed at how well the Titan hauls this puppy!

Don't be in such a hurry. I only averaged ~8.5 MPG on my last trip with the travel trailer.

I love towing with the Titan. I got a chance to do it again this weekend when my buddy's Silverado broke down. I could barely even feel him. So far I have towed a Jeep and a Silverado. Now all I need is to tow an F-150 and a Ram! Maybe I could string all four of them together and tow them all down main street! That would be a sweet Nissan commercial!
