tow mode NOT big tow

My 05 CC has the tow mode button, but I dont have the Big Tow package (no mirrors, didnt come with the hitch, etc...) What does my truck have that the standard CC without tow mode doesnt? Is it just the different tranny? Anything else?

the tow mode button changes the shift points of the transmission
there should be no change in equipment without the tow package

Tow Package – receiver hitch, lower final gear ratio (3.357), 7-pin wiring harness plug, trailer brake pre-wiring on I/P, transmission oil temperature gauge, extended mirrors, heavy duty battery and cooling and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC).

My big tow doesn't have VDC.

I think if you got e-lock you didn't get VDC.

Nope... at least in 06. Elock and VDC are both optional and seperate from the bigtow.

I think that is fairly recent. My 04 (w/o elock) has VDC & Tow Mode and what looks like a harness connector behind the dash for the E-lock switch, but I think when E-lock initially became available, it could not be combined with VDC. Maybe just a software change?

I do have the e-locker 4X4 offroad. No VDC.

I do have the 7-pin harness plug. I do have a tow mode button, so I assume I have the 3.357 ratio.

Not sure about the battery or cooling system, I just looked and attached a picture.

Just to clarify...I have a '05 CC BT and it does NOT have VDC or E-Lock ONLY ABLS

Now that you mention it I remember reading that somewhere now. 2006 big tow VDC or Elock is an option.

Mine does just fine w/ out big tow package. I have an XE KC with a dealer installed hitch, but i dont tow often enough to need the big tow package.

Yes, All Titans Have The Tow Mode Switch.

I think there is a tag on the rear differential.
